While fiddling in Ben's basement, Ben on the keys and Rich on the guitar they should have been working on something else but they were bored.
So instead they worked on some chords that led them somewhere. The chords were pretty crazy but they recorded them along with guitar.
Ben then recorded drums and the keyboard track when he was bored. Marco added keys soon after.
Anyhoo, much later they decided to finish it once and for all. And this is what they did.
Being an instrumental they found that it freed them in ways that a conventional song couldn't. With no vocal melody they could concentrate on more unusual sounds and structures. Have a listen next time you are hoovering. Its over there ----->
